The wind is blowing hard, the gondolas are bumping into one another, and the water is rising, rising, rising…Venice is in danger!
Leo is a brave and friendly kitten and wears a gondolier uniform. With a leap, he jumps onto his friend Mr C’s back and flies over the Grand Canal, St. Mark’s Square, the Campanile and the Doge’s Palace, accompanied by seagulls, pigeons and little mice.
Written by Alberto Toso Fei and illustrated by Yansu Wang, this is a story of courage and friendship that brings Venice to life through the eyes of a cat. The colourful, full-page illustrations make it perfect for sharing with little ones.
