Leo, the kitten wearing a gondolier’s hat, takes little ones on a journey to discover their first words among the wonders of Venice. Page after page, he meets a little mouse perched on a bricola, a gondola beneath the stars, a fish, a pigeon on the rooftops and a delicious gelato.
Each word is written in Italian, English and French, making it fun for children to play with languages from an early age. Yansu Wang’s colourful illustrations, together with the sturdy board-book format and rounded corners, make it perfect for little hands.
